Preview: Foreman vs. Parkers Chapel
Foreman will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Parkers Chapel at 7:30 PM. Foreman have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Foreman wasn't quite Smackover's equal in the second half when they met two weeks ago. Foreman might be aching after a bruising 24-45 loss to Smackover. Foreman's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Kyren Batey, who rushed for 134 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Parkers Chapel had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 35-26 victory over Lafayette County.
Parkers Chapel's win lifted them to 1-1 while Foreman's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Parkers Chapel can add another positive mark to their record or if Foreman can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Parkers Chapel's step.
