Soccer Game Preview: Pahokee vs. Moore Haven

The Pahokee Blue Devils will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Moore Haven Terriers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Pahokee's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Pahokee lost 4-1 to Glades Day last Thursday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Moore Haven was a bit more limited in their match two weeks ago. They came up short against Glades Central, falling 5-1. The defeat continues a trend for Moore Haven in their meetings with Glades Central: they've now lost five in a row.

Pahokee's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Moore Haven, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Pahokee skirted past Moore Haven 2-1 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Terriers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
