There's no place like home for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past the Westland Hialeah Wildcats 3-0 on Wednesday. The Trojans not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 17th.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hialeah-Miami Lakes took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-13.

Alex Llaurado was the offensive standout of the match as he had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave him a new career-high.

Llaurado wasn't the only good server: Hialeah-Miami Lakes was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Westland Hialeah, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Northwestern on the 3rd. As for Westland Hialeah, they will face off against Miami Springs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
