Basketball Recap: Walters Comes Up Short

Walters was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by the Velma-Alma Comets and fell 69-41. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 64-51 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Walters' defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Velma-Alma, they pushed their record up to 24-2 with the win, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Walters nor Velma-Alma have any future games scheduled.
