Softball Recap: Payne Tech Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Payne Tech's offense. They lost 13-0 to the West Orange Mountaineers on Monday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Mountaineers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Payne Tech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leidy Soto Leyba, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Payne Tech's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for West Orange, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-7.

As of now, neither Payne Tech nor the Mountaineers have any future games scheduled.
