Riverside made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Creston, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 3-0 shutout on Saturday. That three goal margin sets a new team best for Riverside this season.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Creston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Riverside will head out to square off against Denison-Schleswig at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Creston, they will take on Chariton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
