Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The O'Neal School). They claimed a resounding 69-16 victory over the Northwood Temple Academy Eagles. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-9.

The O'Neal School's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kennedi Hamner, who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 12 rebounds, and ten steals. Hamner is becoming a predictor of The O'Neal School's success: when she posts at least ten boards the team is 10-2 (and 2-4 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Judah Sibley, who went 8 for 18 on her way to 20 points in addition to six assists and six steals.

The O'Neal School smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

The O'Neal School pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

The O'Neal School will challenge Freedom Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The O'Neal School's defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so Freedom Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. Northwood Temple Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
