Baseball Recap: Franklinton Comes Up Short

Franklinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Central Private Redhawks, falling 8-1.

Franklinton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Central Private, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklinton will host Holden at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Holden will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Franklinton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central Private, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Covington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Covington's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Central Private's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
