Columbia Central entered their tilt with Vandercook Lake on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Jayhawks a 16-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games.
