Basketball Game Preview: First Flight Nighthawks vs. Camden County Bruins

First Flight is a perfect 10-0 against Camden County since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Nighthawks will be home for the holidays to greet the Bruins at 7:30 p.m. First Flight has given up an average of 62.9 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

First Flight is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Manteo 83-58 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Nighthawks in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now won six in a row.

First Flight's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lex Jackson, who posted 24 points. Those 24 points gave Jackson a new career-high. Judah Carlyle was another key player, putting up 24 points.

Meanwhile, Camden County had to suffer through a 70-42 loss at the hands of Pasquotank County. The game marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

First Flight now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Camden County, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for First Flight against Camden County in their previous meeting back in November, as the squad secured an 80-50 victory. Will the Nighthawks repeat their success, or do the Bruins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
