Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It was a Battle of the Birds when Fairfield faced off against Churubusco on Thursday. The Falcons came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 20-25, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Churubusco still got an impressive performance from Amira Wilson, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Churubusco, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fairfield is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakeland at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Churubusco will challenge rival Central Noble at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
