Baseball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the Tanque Verde Hawks by a score of 3-1. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lincoln Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Tanque Verde, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4-1.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and Tanque Verde will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lions are set to square off against their familiar foe Palo Verde at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tanque Verde will challenge rival Thatcher at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
