Weir came tearing into Wednesday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Harrison Central Huskies by a score of 7-3. Seven seems to be a good number for the Red Riders as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Weir's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Harrison Central, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Weir will welcome Steubenville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Big Red will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Red Riders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Harrison Central, they will venture away from home to take on Bellaire at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
