Baseball Recap: Eden Christian Academy's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Eden Christian Academy barely beat Quaker Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Eden Christian Academy was the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over Quaker Valley on Friday. The victory was nothing new for Eden Christian Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.

Noah Emswiler made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, Brady Hull was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Brett Feldman was another key player, going 4-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Eden Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matchups.

Eden Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Quaker Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eden Christian Academy will challenge Seton LaSalle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Quaker Valley, they will take on Sto-Rox at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Quakers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
