Football Recap: Bridgeport Takes a Loss

Bridgeport played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 42-16 to the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.

When it comes to explaining why Bridgeport lost, don't look at Nikolas Weibert. Despite the final result, he rushed for 85 yards, and also threw for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dundy County-Stratton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Bridgeport is taking a road trip to face off against Sandhills Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dundy County-Stratton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sutherland on Thursday.
