Spring Valley has gone 7-2 against Riverside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Timberwolves will square off against the Warriors at 2:00 p.m. Neither Spring Valley nor Riverside posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Monday just wasn't the day for Spring Valley's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln County on Monday. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Riverside didn't have quite enough to beat Sherman on Friday and fell 4-2.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Spring Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-19.

Spring Valley beat Riverside 8-4 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
