Basketball Recap: Redeemer Christian Has No Trouble Against Seven Rivers Christian + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cambridge Christian, Redeemer Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors as they made off with a 55-31 victory. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 54-42 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Jackson LaFirst was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Gravante, who posted 11 points.

Redeemer Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in five consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Seven Rivers Christian still got an impressive performance from Jaysen Westberry, who had 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Redeemer Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Redeemer Christian has already played their next game, a 50-41 win against First Academy on the 15th. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-42 loss against Classical Prep on the 15th.
