Recap: Harrisonburg Bulldogs vs. Alexandria Country Day Tigers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monterey, the Harrisonburg Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-33 victory over Alexandria Country Day. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Harrisonburg also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Harrisonburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laine Dupuis, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Dupuis has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times he's played. Josiah Glaspell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Harrisonburg's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Alexandria Country Day, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.

Harrisonburg will take on the Vikings at TBD on Monday. Avoyelles Charter presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bulldogs in Louisiana (the Vikings are ranked 70th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 348th). As for Alexandria Country Day, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Wolves at 5:30 p.m.
