Hampton Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 75-35 victory over Gateway Christian. The Warriors pushed the score to 50-29 by the end of the third, a deficit Gateway Christian had little chance of recovering from.

Hampton Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kobe America, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 22 points along with seven boards and three steals. That's the most points America has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Joyce, who went 8 for 9 en route to 21 points and five rebounds.

Hampton Christian Academy pushed their record up to 13-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for Gateway Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

Looking ahead, Hampton Christian Academy will square off against Greenbrier Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gateway Christian, they will face off against Portsmouth Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
