Palma is 9-1 against Salinas since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Palma will host Salinas at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Palma has three straight victories, Salinas has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Salinas' hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Palma hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. Palma never let Menlo School get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Chieftains have won four matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Jackson Harris looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Johnny Carnazzo was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rocco Razzeca, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Palma always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Menlo School only posted an OBP of .250.
Meanwhile, Salinas came up short against Clovis East on Friday and fell 7-2.
Salinas saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dezmond Corn, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Palma pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Salinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Palma beat Salinas 6-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Palma repeat their success, or does Salinas has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
