Baseball Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Riverdale's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Fowler Redcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cowboys' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Riverdale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CARLOS CABRERA, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Fowler, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale will venture away from home to face off against Caruthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fowler, they will head out to square off against Tulare Western at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
