Basketball Recap: Delphian Takes a Loss

Delphian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the Regis Rams, falling 77-45. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Rams are ranked 38th).

Delphian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Regis, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Delphian will take on Chemawa Indian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Delphian is facing Chemawa Indian at the right time seeing as Chemawa Indian is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Regis, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-50 loss against Oakland on the 25th.
