Volleyball Recap: Alex Harker-Murray Key Part of Team Effort in Warhawks Win

The Arrowhead Warhawks earned a 3-1 victory over the Oconomowoc Raccoons on Wednesday.

Arrowhead was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 17-25, 25-21.

Arrowhead's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Harker-Murray led the charge by getting 16 assists and five digs. That's the most assists Harker-Murray has posted over his last six matchups. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Roussel, who had eight digs and four assists.

Arrowhead is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Oconomowoc, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Coming up, Arrowhead will take on Madison West in a tournament on Saturday. As for Oconomowoc, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Dominican on the 25th.
