Football Game Preview: Willamette Wolverines vs. Central Catholic Rams + How To Watch

The Willamette Wolverines will square off against the Central Catholic Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Willamette is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Mountainside with a sharp 42-20 victory. The Wolverines' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Willamette found their leader in sophomore Zeke Thomas, who threw for 236 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 56 yards and one score on only seven carries. Hunter Vaughn was Thomas' top target, picking up 79 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Willamette didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Amir Harris, Brodie Butler, Vaughn, and Tevin Candelario picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Central Catholic humbled Newberg with a 42-14 victory. With the Rams ahead 28-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Willamette, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
