Softball Recap: William Penn Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for William Penn's offense. They came up short against the Central York Panthers on Friday, falling 15-0. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

William Penn's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Central York, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as William Penn Bearcats take on Red Lion Lions at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Red Lion will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something William Penn surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central York, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Hempfield at 4:15 p.m.
