Soccer Recap: Cypress Park Comes Up Short

Cypress Park lost against Bridgeland back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cypress Park Tigers lost 4-0 to the Bridgeland Bears. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Bears are ranked 125th).

Cypress Park has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. The win (which was Bridgeland's third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Cypress Park will challenge Langham Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bridgeland, they will face off against Waller at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridgeland is facing Waller at the right time seeing as Waller is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
