Volleyball Game Preview: Chicopee Pacers vs. John J. Duggan Academy

The Chicopee Pacers will venture away from home to take on John J. Duggan Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Chicopee and 17 for John J. Duggan Academy dating back to last season.

Chicopee managed to slip by Southwick Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pacers came up short against the Rams on Thursday, falling 3-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Pacers were not able to get on the board.

While Chicopee was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, John J. Duggan Academy lost 3-0 to Granby on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-14.

Chicopee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for John J. Duggan Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
