Football Recap: Lake Arthur Takes a Loss

Lake Arthur played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Welsh Greyhounds 59-20. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost seven in a row.

Lake Arthur's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Welsh, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Lake Arthur will square off against Lafayette Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Welsh, they will welcome Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
