Hunter-Kinard-Tyler extends home winning streak to 11

In what's become a running theme this season, the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 50-23 victory over North. The victory was nothing new for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler as they're now sitting on three straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hunter-Kinard-Tyler to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tilayzia Youmans, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Youmans has scored at least a third of Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's points. Another player making a difference was Aysiah Bonaparte, who scored 13 points along with four steals.

Despite the defeat, North saw an underclassman step up: Alayshia Mack scored ten points. That was a full 43.5% of North's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 19.91 points. As for North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will be playing at home against Calhoun County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Denmark-Olar at 6:30 p.m. on January 5th. Denmark-Olar will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
