Football Recap: Blair Academy Comes Up Short

Blair Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 16-8 to the Kiski School Cougars. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bucs came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 119th in New Jersey, while the Cougars are ranked 281st in Pennsylvania).

Blair Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Kiski School, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Blair Academy will take on Wyoming Seminary College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bucs will be up against the Blue Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kiski School, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Blue Ridge at 2:00 p.m. on the 25th.
