Volleyball Game Preview: Maywood CES Wolfpack vs. Marquez Gladiators

Maywood CES is 2-8 against Marquez since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Wolfpack will host the Gladiators at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Maywood CES' tournament run continued when they took on Grant on Saturday. The Wolfpack fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Marquez came up short against Mayfair on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Marquez's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Maywood CES, their loss dropped their record down to 16-13.

Maywood CES suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Marquez in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Wolfpack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
