Grossmont has gone a perfect 7-0 against El Cajon Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Foothillers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Braves at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Grossmont made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Valhalla, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Foothillers fell just short of the Norsemen by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. The Foothillers have struggled against the Norsemen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Nakhia Lee made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, El Cajon Valley lost 29-1 to Bishop's on Tuesday. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grossmont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for El Cajon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Grossmont's way against El Cajon Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Grossmont made off with an 11-0 win. Will the Foothillers repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
