Football Recap: Pine Creek Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Legend + How To Watch

Pine Creek faced Legend in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles were beaten by the Titans 57-30. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-6.

When it comes to explaining why Pine Creek lost, don't look at Caleb Petree. Despite the final result, he rushed for 122 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Xavier Ortiz was in the mix too, providing the Eagles with two scores.

Dj Bordeaux had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 294 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for 71 yards and one TD on only seven carries for Legend. Ryan Iglesias did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 87 receiving yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Pine Creek and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Legend, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
