Soccer Game Preview: Cienega vs. Mica Mountain

The Cienega Bobcats will venture away from home to take on the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Last Wednesday, Cienega made easy work of Sunnyside and carried off a 9-1 win. Hazel Ramos was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mica Mountain). They were the clear victor by an 11-3 margin over Rio Rico on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Thunderbolts have won by exactly eight goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Cienega and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Mica Mountain, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
