            Volleyball Recap: Lyman Hall Trojans vs. Mercy Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Lyman Hall was the  3-1 winner over Mercy when they last played one another  back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans lost  3-0 to the Tigers on Friday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19,  25-14.
Lyman Hall's offense was headlined by  Sarah Aitkenhead and  Emily Buzbee, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from  Lauren Aitkenhead and her 12 assists. She also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Mya Tyrrell, each putting up three.
 Leading Mercy to victory were  Kacy Dickson and  Sarah Carter.  Dickson  had 13  digs and four assists, while  Carter  had 12  digs and seven  kills. That's the most  digs  Carter has posted  over her last nine  contests.
Lyman Hall's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Mercy, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-10.
 Lyman Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against New London on the 13th. As for Mercy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-2  defeat against Montville on the 13th.
