Baseball Game Preview: Columbiana Clippers vs. Lakeview Bulldogs

The Columbiana Clippers will square off against the Lakeview Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Columbiana has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Columbiana fell victim to Howland and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 13-0. The Clippers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Lakeview beat Harding 4-1 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Isaiah Lantz was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Columbiana, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.
