Volleyball Recap: Boone Central Cardinals vs. Madison Dragons
On Monday, the Boone Central Cardinals made easy work of the Madison Dragons and carried off a 3-0 win.
One reason for the win was Boone Central's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-8.
Boone Central was led to victory by Brooklyn Primrose and Madison Gompert. Primrose had eight digs, three aces, and a kill, while Gompert had 27 digs. Gompert is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last five games she's played.
Boone Central's victory bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Madison, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season.
Boone Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Scotus on the 29th. Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
