Football Recap: Sonora Broncos vs. Alpine Bucks
Sonora won the last time they faced Alpine, and things went their way on Friday too. The Sonora Broncos claimed a resounding 35-8 win over the Alpine Bucks at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.
Sonora found their leader in underclassman Aaron Segura, who threw for 322 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt. A healthy portion of that aerial production (97 yards to be exact) went to Kam Aguero.
The victory got Sonora back to even at 2-2. As for Alpine, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Sonora is taking a road trip to challenge McCamey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sonora knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully McCamey likes a good challenge. As for Alpine, they will take on Anthony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
