Volleyball Recap: Green Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Green had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Valley Indians, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-8, 25-12.

Emma Brown paced Green's offense, picking up three kills. Brown got some help from Peyton Neal and her three assists. Neal was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Valley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Green wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Western on the 21st. As for Valley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Dawson-Bryant at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
