Soccer Recap: Northern Durham Takes a Loss

Northern Durham and Excelsior Classical Academy combined for 13 shots on goal on Friday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. The Knights came up short against the Flying Lions, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Northern Durham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 385th, while Excelsior Classical Academy are ranked 89th).

Northern Durham's goal came courtesy of Juan Sanchez, who's now up to six this season.
