Basketball Game Preview: Cedarville Pirates vs. Paris Eagles

Cedarville is 1-9 against Paris since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Cedarville Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Paris Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Cedarville came up short against Charleston and fell 51-44.

Meanwhile, Paris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Mansfield an easy 57-35 victory.

Paris' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cedarville, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.

Cedarville might still be hurting after the 44-20 loss they got from Paris when the teams last played back in February. Can Cedarville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
