Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Trevor Anderson, who had 19 assists and 12 digs. He has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 29 times he's played. Robbie Hacker was another key player, getting 20 assists and seven digs.
Meanwhile, La Costa Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Carlsbad, falling 3-0.
La Costa Canyon took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.
San Dieguito Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for La Costa Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.
