Volleyball Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short

Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Leon Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Leon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Centerville will challenge rival Normangee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Leon is set to take on their familiar foe Lovelady at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
