Nick Martensen turned in nothing short of a gem on Tuesday, striking out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with two or fewer walks. For the season, he has an ERA of 3.09 over 11.1 innings pitched.

Martensen's strong effort led Grandview over Arapahoe and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
