Recap: Commerce Tigers vs. Afton Eagles
The Commerce Tigers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Afton, posting a 45-7 victory at home. That's another feather in the cap for Commerce, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Commerce found their leader in underclassman Keylen White, who rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.
Commerce's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Afton, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Commerce will head out on the road to face off against Ketchum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Ketchum is ranked 192nd, while Commerce is ranked 188th). As for Afton, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Fairland at 7:00 p.m.
