After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hammond Morton, Hammond Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gary West Side Cougars a 13-0 shutout. The game marked the Wolves' most dominant win of the season.

Hammond Central now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Gary West Side, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
