Soccer Game Preview: Diamond Hill-Jarvis vs. Western Hills

Diamond Hill-Jarvis has won seven straight games at home, while Western Hills has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles will host the Western Hills Cougars at 8:00 p.m. Diamond Hill-Jarvis knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Western Hills likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Diamond Hill-Jarvis got the win against Southwest by a conclusive 5-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Southwest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joshua Montanez (2), Alex Ibarra (2), and Valentin Sanchez.

Meanwhile, Western Hills kept a clean sheet against Dunbar on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats.

Western Hills' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7-2. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis was able to grind out a solid victory over Western Hills when the teams last played back in February, winning 2-0. Does Diamond Hill-Jarvis have another victory up their sleeve, or will Western Hills turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
