Football Recap: Andrew Carlson and Hudson Sweitzer Secure Win for Trinity Classical Academy

Trinity Classical Academy won the last time they faced Webb and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights enjoyed a cozy 42-26 victory over the Gauls.

Leading Trinity Classical Academy to victory were Hudson Sweitzer and Andrew Carlson. Sweitzer rushed for 178 yards and three scores while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, while Carlson rushed for 132 yards and one TD on only six carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Sweitzer a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Trinity Classical Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 382 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Trinity Classical Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Aiden Visconti, Josiah Saroughian, and Cade Herta picked up one apiece.

Webb's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikey Pino, who threw for 389 yards and four touchdowns. Alec Kaushal was in the mix too, providing the Gauls with two TDs.

Trinity Classical Academy's record is now 2-3. As for Webb, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2.
