Baseball Game Preview: Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas vs. St. Albans Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Georgetown Prep will face off against St. Albans. The Little Hoyas will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

While Georgetown Prep's win against St. Albans wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Little Hoyas won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Little Hoyas in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

For St. Albans' part, they got a good showing from Preston Benner, who pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Benner has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

St. Albans' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for Georgetown Prep, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
