Lansing Catholic have struggled against East Lansing recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Lansing Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for East Lansing, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-4 record this season.
